How to Use Metallic Clear Epoxy Resin

Step 1:

Measure (2:1 Ratio)

Mix 2 parts Resin (A) with 1 part Hardener (B) by volume. Use clean measuring containers and ensure exact proportions — accurate measurement is the foundation of a successful floor coating.

Step 2:

Mix Thoroughly

Stir the components slowly for 3–4 minutes using a low-speed drill mixer. Once fully blended, add your metallic pigment and mix again until the color is smooth and consistent.

Step 3:

Pour & Create

Pour the mixture onto your prepped floor. Use a notched trowel or gauge rake to spread the resin across the surface in smooth, even passes.

Step 4:

Cure & De-mold

Roll the surface with a spiked roller to release any air bubbles. Let the resin cure undisturbed — it's walkable in 12–18 hours and fully cured in 48–72 hours depending on room temperature and humidity.
