Sand the surface smooth (180–220 grit) and clean off all dust. Make sure the wood is dry, raw, and free of any previous finishes or oils.
Step 2:
Apply the Oil
Using a cotton cloth, apply a thin, even layer of Monocoat Oil with the grain. No need to flood the surface — a little goes a long way!
Step 3:
Buff the Surface
After 10–15 minutes, buff the surface using a clean dry cloth or a buffing pad. This helps remove excess oil and smooths out the finish, leaving a soft, even sheen.
Step 4:
Let It Cure
Allow 24–36 hours before light use and up to 5 days for full curing. Do not wash or expose to water during this time.
